On chinese and chinese culture
i realised i knew so little about the chinese culture, though i've been a chinese all my life! I feel disgraceful about that~ esspecially since the "tea" incident. people always deem me as very CHEE-NA girl, really, i wish i could live up to the impressions i give them.

On assuming and judging
i noticed i've been too ready to pass judgment, too ready to be critical and too ready to complain.
i should really keep my mouth and ear zipped. just cant help but say the wrong word at the wrong time, to the wrong person. lolx...

On spending too much~
can someone help me regain my thrifty- auntie self?!

On make - up PEs
i wonder how i'm going to complete 13 make up PEs beginning of nXt year...

On giving thanks
i wanna thanks God for:
the China trip
the wonderful friends
the $10 my er yi blessed me
the PW which is finally over

received an oh- so-last-min msg at 10pm yesterday, apparently an order from tang laoshi to send our passport down to him at examination board by 12pm. Obviously it's ridiculous for everyone to rush down since they've got A Levels PW presentation. So we, who could do so, complained a lot on the MRT.
However, our frustrations were turned into joy when we saw so many chinese teachers!!! OMG, first it was xuszewei laoshi with mr gan ban soon, then it was sunli laoshi with hou zhiyong laoshi. and then it was yi laoshi, lin weixin laoshi and xu xuanzhen laoshi (who invited us to join us for lunch but we kindly turned down her offer since we have IMPT mission uncompleted) and i saw wang wen xian laoshi and caolaoshi, so i asked the whereabts of lee laoshi whom fatimah and i waited anticipatingly only to realise she's not there...

我可不可以不做让人不开心的事？

很喜欢这首诗，尤其是“和秋风也吹不落的忧愁” 这一句。有人说汪国真滥情，我却觉得滥情的人才能写出好诗。最后两句有李清照「一剪梅』的味道。若说是艺术加工，我觉得不是很成功... 可是还是很喜欢这首诗。

what's good abt this cam:
value for money, cheaper than the other cannon brand yet alot of funtions and high quality pictures. long battery life.

bought at: $399 with a free card reader and 256 MB memory card
spent $475 in total

$18 on charger and rechargeable battery
$55 on a 512 memery card

what that shop sells at $489, free 512 MB memory card, charger. but is out of stock!!

what's good: it's 5.1 megapixel, higer resolution and free memeroy card with of 512MB!! and the price is almost the same as the one i bought and the design so chic and also got lager LCD screen!

what's bad: it's memory stick is more expensive and sony keep renewing so the memory card will be discontinued in future. higher megapixel means i can store less pictures.

很久没用华文打字了，有点生疏。今天一直下着毛毛细雨，我喜欢十一月的雨季。

雨季

每每当雨点把头发沾湿，或微风迎面拂拭，都会引发我作诗的悸动。雨季很烂漫，但也很短暂。

头发

一头新发似旧人。已经不只一个，而是两个人说我的新发型像极李老师！我是崇拜她啦，但也没到特地跟她剪类似发型的地步。

幸福

我要去中国了！必须打流感疫苗，我怕打针！

老师

我还是立志当老师，尽管现实还是像大桶大桶的冷水往我身上泼。我一定要提升自己。

知己

难得的知己是很难碰上的，要珍惜。我在学。

Cherlynn bought me this from thailand after reading my yellow teeth posts... and thanks girl for the case. i love it! :)
I am so happie i got this: a shaver + 4 refills. value pack. it's a bliss i can switch away from my caveman/ cavewoman mode after 1 month of suffering. it's a release after feeling resigned everytime i open my closet to realise that i only have sleeveless clothes and razor backs!! i need to get more presentable t-shirts for back up...!!!

my shopping spree haven ended! i simply love hols!
next on my spending list:

1. get rid of my lion's mane at a) calippers @ fareast $18 b) QB $10 in 10 mins (URGENT!)
2. a camera (please please recommend, my budget is <$500)
3. A scarf, milky coloured to go with winter coat
4. 5 soveniors for student exchange

i totally love spending money. still jobless.
