looks like this blog has rotted for quite some time. even my tag board has been abolished. sob... sob...
since uni started so many things has happened. this entry's going to be pretty random.
Sociology VS Chinese studies.
For ages, i've been pretty sure i am going to pursue Chinese studies. at least that was what i told the whole world. But not that sure now. hahaha... how can i be so fickle about this so called "passion"?!!! there are really 2 factors which contributes to this dilemma. Perhaps the term assignment kinda snuffed the burning passion. hello!!! what are the purpose and methods of studying history. how interesting can it get...? 2nd factor being me taking 3 socio modules. they're all really interesting. perhaps it's a relative concept, Chinese studies seems dull in comparison. so it goes that i entered with a determination to major in Chinese studies, and then it became to major in Chinese studies and minor in socio, and now I'm considering whether i should major in socio and minor in Chinese studies.
Theatre Studies.
This module is taught by a pretty renown and extremely humorous lecturer. Dr KK Seet. i was exhilarated when he called my name twice on week 9's tutorial. i must say I'm really disappointed that i never give any constructive ans, in fact i always seem to fumble. i was secretly hoping he remembered me because of the TS assignment. I'm pretty proud about it. thought it offered a different perspective to the play compared to others. It has to pay off, i paid 75 bucks watching the play twice for the sake of the assignment. at least he noticed my existence.
