It can be frustrating having to work in the midst of all exams and piling notes to be chomped down.
But who says work always mean extra burden.
It's extra motivation for me.
The kids are having their exams soon.
They're going on battle field too.
so we 互相加油咯!
Sometimes i feel helpless and incapable in helping them improve their chinese.
There's so much i can do in 1 hr 45 mins a week.
So the only things i can do is help them like the language a little more. :)
Ironically, i'm the one who's considering at this juncture whether I liked the language enough to be studying it for the next few years.
On a lighter and heartwarming note, i was really touched by my p1 kid.
with mothers' day around the corner, the kids are given heart shape constuction paper to write a msg for their mums.
So i gave this kid a piece of paper. and he goes:
老师我要黄色的。
韵:ok.
jj: 我妈妈喜欢黄色。
and i told them they can write msges like: 妈妈我爱你!,妈妈,母情节快乐!or 妈妈你最棒!
when i went round to inspect what they have written, jj atrociously wrote in hanyupinyin!! so i went:
不可写汉语拼音!要写汉字!
jj: 我妈妈喜欢汉语拼音。 -_-"
韵:一定要用汉字写,不会写的字可以问我。
then i confiscated his heartshape and gave him a new piece.
jj:老师,怎么写“最”?
。。。
jj: 老师,怎么写“棒”?
after this we went for storytelling and the kids darn exicited cos we always don't have enough time for story telling.
afterclass when i was clearing the room, jj was scribbling on the whiteboard and sheepishly ran away when i turned around.
and there on the board, was a pharse written in rather untidy manner...
"niyehenbang"
woah... i was so taken aback.. hahaha... 心里暗爽,一直到现在。。。:X
