你看！我有我的方向！

今天收到了教育部的来信，有点意外。起初以为也许大概有可能有机会拿奖学金，可是事实是残酷的，老天愚弄了我。等着我的只是一张帐单。-__-" 我是不是很势利呢? 但是我选读语言特选课程不是为了奖学金！只是奖学金能让我圆一个小小的出国梦。
我是有我的方向的！我要当华文老师！对，虽然说一路将会荆棘重重，也会有人把大桶大桶的冷水往我身上泼，我坚持我的志向！诗韵加油！

Out of boredom, i came to blog again. I believe every famous person in history has a timeline of his/her life's events constructed for him/her in his/her bio/autobiograpy. Forseeing th possibility of me becoming BIG in the near future, i hereby collate(from memories) and compile my very first timeline of my life's events!

1988 Born in Mount Alvenia Hospital.
1992 Attended some ulu PAP Kindergarten
1994 Graduated from that kindergarten
1995 Enrolled into Bedok West Primary School
1996 Parents divorced.
1997 No major event i remembered
1998 Dad met my stepmum. Streamed into EM2 cos my English result didn't make the mark.
1999 Nothing special.
2000 Graduated from primary school/ Form teacher cried on my shoulder when i presented her a card/One of the few who initiated a teacher's day celebration for our beloved form teacher Mrs Tan/ Mrs Tan brought everyone a drumstick from Mac on children's day/ Shock
upon receiving my PSLE aggregate of 256.
2001 Enrolled into Anglican School/Joined Chinese Drama.
2002 Received Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Saviour/Joined Student's Council/Props manager.
2003 Publicity Group/Actress/designed drama tee/Corrected Mr Chan that a period is not 360 degrees but 28 days/mum came to city havest for the 1st time.
2004 Honoured that Lee Laoshi became our Lit teacher/scored 89 for clit exam/invaded supervised self study/Passed "o" level with L1R5 9/get A1 for clit which by far is my
proudest achievement/ Graduated from AHS
2005 Enrolled into TJC for 1st 3 mths/ Not posted anywhere there after/ appealed and got in.

One chapter ended, another has just begun... May God bless my paths. :)

I didn't love mamA enough

This blog shall be dedicated to my dearest and bestest mama. Woke up this morning to realise that i have forgotten to eat the two chicken wings she bought yesterday night in an attempt to fill my stomach which she supposed was by then empty due to my late lunch/early dinner of 5 pm. I feel guilty already. It just dawn on me that the three syllabus i most frequently say to her isn't "I love you" but happens to be "I'm sorry". Apparently, apologsing has became my profession.

Agapae love. Sometimes i just wonder if i can love someone as much as my mum loves me. She forgives my clumsiness so readily. If people are still thinking that i'm a chinese freak, yes i admit i'm one, not superb, but well trained, and it all owe it to my mama. My mama gives me ting1 xie3 fortnightly, and mind you, it's not the ten words ting1 xie3, but 2 whole books of Chinese vocab. She's my motivation, and my inspiration.

I believe on many ocassions when i did stupid things out of impulse, the things i did, it pained her. Yet she still loves me even if I'm not flawless. And really, no one has invested so much time on me, be it nagging, persuding, advicing or simply joking (she does have a wracky sense of humour) and watching tv together with me. This is the bond i've never felt when i'm with my dad or stepmum. Nevertheless, they have shown their love in some other ways... Material wise maybe...

Yup, so all in all, We've really gotta treasure some of the most wonderful poeple God has placed in our lives. Express it outwardly, no matter how mushy it may be. Give your mum a hug today! (I'd have to do it the coming Saturday)
