holding on to a 2mth temp job.
admin at ubi where dad can fetch me to and from work cos he works nearby.
and the best thing is i can meet mum during lunch cos she lives nearby.
and mummy cooks for me everyday!
yummy delicious healthy meals.
so now i save on my lunch money and my transport fees!!!
somehow God must have played a part amist all these arrangements.:)

and the trick is...
c'mon, it's really hard to get hired as admin when one dun even know excel and has no experience in admin work (though i always do admin for my dad in e past)
and the collegue is willing to take me and let me learn.
it's not too busy, i can still have time to surf net and take calls sometimes.

i've learnt a whole lot of brand new things.
now i'm more proficient in MS excel
and it's really so very convenient for tables.
to think that i've wasted so much precious time drawing tables with Words in the past
now i know how to merge and format cells,
adjust column length etc.
and how to make purchase orders,
write quotations,
take calls,
write cheques and do bank in slips.
keep track of invoices,
draw shedules with excel
fax
etc etc etc.
and the pay is not bad, 5/hr in the comfort of air con room, office hour.
time and space for me to pick things up.
it's a painting company by the way.
heh heh... for now i'm the temp admin of Regal Painting!

Besides that, i'm also working at baliguo on Sats.
telling stories to K1 kids!!
and it's something i so enjoy doing cos it's also teaching,
learning how to teach, gaining experience.
and it's a chinese environment!! teach chinese only~
baliguo also offered me a permenant job but i turned down.. for various reasons.
but i still thank God i get to teach on weekends!
and honglaoshi called and told me he's giving me another P1 slots and
wants me to learn from the lecturer (which i think he intends to give me a slot as a lecturer)
basically it works like this,
there's a "lecturer"(主讲老师) and a 助教 in a class of about 7-13 students(sometimes kids) so assistant teacher will not teach but help out and in charge of story telling~
actually i think kids who went for classes there would really enjoy chinese lessons
cos it's taught in such interesting and interactive manner where teachers can try to meet the needs of the diff students.
yes so fun!! and good pay too $20 for a 1 hr 45mins lesson for 助教 and $40 for 主讲.
and i want to thank llb for recommanding me the job (recommanding the job me actually, in Dec. thanks alot!)

besides that, i'm taking on 3 tutions coming Febuary.
Standing in for my sister's fren as she's away for attachment in Disneyland UK.

i thank God for the sources of financial inflows~
whew! i thought it'd be really hard looking for jobs cos the first week i was so disappointed
after calling up 10+ schools putting my name down for relief teachings, sending in a resume for admin, applying at 2 shops as sales assisstence, signing up at job agency and apply at a student care centre. and no one called me up.
but God is faithful
and in days, jobs start flowing in from differnt sources. haha...

oh and daddy sign me up for driving.
heh heh... he say he'll find someone good to be my instructor so i can pass after 1 test.
i figure having the relations helps
both in getting good jobs and
in getting a good instructor.
