If not for you,
How would I have known a fighter?
One whose eyes were fixed,
On making lives a tad brighter.
If not for you,
Where would I have found a father,
Who rules with an iron fist,
One which never falters.
If not for you,
What would make of us?
Where would we have been, thus?
And because of you,
A piece of everyone died.
Together with the body weathered dried.
You, left a legacy,
The jarring silence.
Screaming through times,
To live, a legacy.
How would I have known a fighter?
One whose eyes were fixed,
On making lives a tad brighter.
If not for you,
Where would I have found a father,
Who rules with an iron fist,
One which never falters.
If not for you,
What would make of us?
Where would we have been, thus?
And because of you,
A piece of everyone died.
Together with the body weathered dried.
You, left a legacy,
The jarring silence.
Screaming through times,
To live, a legacy.
