More than just friends

More than just friends. They are comrades, partners-in-crime, bitching buddies and the bestest colleagues. They are the reasons that made my days in school some of the most memorable ones. I'm not so good with words so I do hope this doesn't end up to become another clique mushy piece. Here's some things that I really appreciate since you guys entered my life. (Goodness, please prepare for a packet of tissue lest... I get too emotional and you go tearing.)6 signs you guys are god-sent and deserves my utmost appreciation. m(_ _)m

#1 You are a crazy bunch.

This is going to sound like madness. I can never imagine going out on weekday nights, lest going out drinking at 10pm at night. Spontaneously. And having to wake up... on THURDAY 5.00am to go to school. Yes, seeing these colleagues in school all day and still can't get enough of them and go out on Sats and eat breakfasts on Sundays and still see them for dinner on Monday nights and go Jap class together. If you can join a colleague for a new hobby, have HTHT over a cuppa or two, bitch about students, the happiness and disappointments, actually discuss about lessons, shoot arrows at each other (and knows specifically how to dodge it... ), then you are not just colleagues. This is crazy.

#2 You bring me back to my CCA days.

How many friends do you make in a year after you've started working?  And has work ever been the same as having that burning passion, with people whom you know you are on the same boat with, looking towards the same direction with the thirst of touching lives.  (No, I am not MOE's propaganda machine) But these people brought me back to my CCA days. Laughing sheepishly when we see how our guides bonded, frowning over the disappointments (also frustrations) brought about our students, ACTUALLY having so much passion in dancing that one doesn't mind coming over to conduct session for our guides. Cracking jokes that only people with the same frequency would appreciate and not roll their eyes (either literally or in their hearts). These camaraderie were experiences that I haven't got to relive since my JC days.

#3  You speak the truths and why it doesn't bother me

Yes, the good ones, the funny ones, the ugly one. I name it, you (guys) spoke it. And these are precious advice that if you ain't close enough, people wouldn't even both letting you know. Because the intentions/bloody bluntness/praises were born out of genuine concern.

#4 We share the stupidest and most embarrassing moments without even flinching an eyebrow
(OK you've probably flinched both eyebrows.)

hahaha... It gets so comfy around you guys I don't even care about maintaining an image. (Not that there is one in the first place )  Almost like, anything goes. OK, we do have check and balances, except that it included things like... "Hey girls, get ready, I am going to fart..." "真的吗?" " 假的"
"Oh, did I tell you I shitted in my uniform and walked 5km back home?" (Now the whole world shares the first documentation of the stupidest moments)

#4 Spontaneity

”要不要游泳,等下?”   ——ok

"等下吃晚餐。" —— ok

"不如我们去喝两杯。” —— ok

"你ok 吗?还是要我陪你跑两圈?"  ——

"不如等下我们走路回家啦?” ——ok (Seletar Mall back to Punggol...)

"看电影吗?”—— ok

"Badminton?" —— ok

No you don't get the drift. Yet. Because sometimes these statements were made like... 1 hour before it is going to happen. Sometimes 15 mins, sometimes in the middle of a work day night. Sometimes before the start of a workday, sometimes at midnight.

#5 You had actually been on a holiday with the colleague and planning for the next holiday to come.

The one statements says it all.

#6 Girls' power!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of optimism, a lot of zest, a lot of craziness and it just happened.

Thank you for being at this juncture of my life. It's been a blessing, and a blast (literally and figuratively) because I could never have imagined living that passion like a teen before you guys came on board.

Cheers to the many memorable experiences, and counting.

With Love, fellow comrades. Here's a song for you, you and you! :)

但其实我更想贴这首...

PS: 今天脑袋进水。明天再继续射箭!
