"It will not make sense if you understand the what, who, where and how, but do not understand the why. Because why is the driving force towards making things happen. It's where passion lies."
It makes sense to you if you know why you are doing things. Yet it will only become purposeful if one has a strong why.
Then it leads me to ponder. Who defines what make up a strong why?
The majority? What if the majority are mad?
Logic? Aren't there many circumstances where logic doesn't apply? Wars, irrational fight of ideology and the likes.
End day I figured it's what speaks to the heart/soul that makes a strong WHY.
And the language of the heart and soul is universal across humanity.
It is ridiculous what led to all these dry and pseudo-philosophical thoughts.
It was a dinner with Emilie and LLB over the Taiwan itinerary.
llb questions "你要去这里做什么?”“为什么要去这里?”
I was actually dumbfounded.
I never questioned the 为什么?
I was glad for the discussions and the suggestions.
Understanding a more purposeful WHY.
leads to where
leads to what
leads to who
leads to how.
And llb 就是 how 的钥匙。 Deliberately fulfill a strong and purposeful why.
llb, the master of constructive criticism. (For what makes constructive criticism, link here.)
